Orsières is the administrative centre of the municipality of the same name. As well as an architecturally interesting centre with a thirteenth-century bell tower, the village is perfectly situated at the gateway to the Grand-St-Bernard Valley and Val Ferret, 15 minutes from the 3 ski areas of La Fouly, Champex-Lac and Vichères-Liddes, and also from Le Châble, the gateway to the Verbier/4 Vallées ski area.
