Location
Ideally situated next to the vicarage and the church, the gite accueil St-Bernard is perfectly placed in the heart of Orsières and close to all amenities. Restaurants, a sports shop, a grocery shop, 2 butchers, 1 pharmacy and other services are all less than 5 minutes away.
Entrance
When you arrive at the gite, we would be grateful if you would fill in the file for statistical purposes. Thank you for your cooperation! If you have not paid for the night, please do so in the small box on the wall.
You will of course find the stamp for your credit card as well as various tourist brochures and books to help you learn more about Orsières and the Pays du St-Bernard tourist region.
Please note that pets are not allowed.
Shower/WC
To the left of the dining room are the toilets and the shower so appreciated by pilgrims after a long day’s walk. Please respect this place so that your successors can also appreciate it to the full!
Dining room
The gîte has 2 large dining tables and a small kitchen area with a hotplate, sink and some crockery.
Dormitory upstairs
On the first floor, you’ll find 4 beds as well as 7 mattresses and blankets if you need them. The accommodation is basic and basic, but it’s enough to give you a restful night’s sleep and a good start on your journey to the Great St Bernard!
